Literary Lady, Dr. Patricia Daly-Lipe, is the author of ten books, nine of which we are proud to feature here at WaterBearer Press! She is a past President of the National League of American Pen Women-La Jolla Branch and later President of the Washington, DC Branch.

Once the owner of racehorses as well as a horse show competitor, Patricia now rescues thoroughbred horses, two of whom have “written” a book.

Barbara Dawson (circa 1917-2009) came to La Jolla from her native England in 1920. Retired after thirty years as a teacher and school principal, she was the first president of the La Jolla Historical Society, traveled to over sixty countries, and was a nationally rated tennis player.
