Literary Lady, Dr. Patricia Daly-Lipe, is the author of ten books, all different genres. She is a past President of the National League of American Pen Women-La Jolla Branch and later President of the Washington, DC Branch.
Patricia has written for newspapers and magazines including the Evening Star Newspaper in Washington, DC, the Beach and Bay Press including La Jolla Village News in California, and The Georgetowner and Uptowner Newspapers in Washington, DC.
She has been a college professor and now gives presentations covering all aspects of writing for literary groups.
Once the owner of racehorses as well as a horse show competitor, Patricia now rescues thoroughbred horses, two of whom have “written” a book.

Barbara Dawson (circa 1917-2009) came to La Jolla from her native England in 1920. Retired after thirty years as a teacher and school principal, she was the first president of the La Jolla Historical Society, traveled to over sixty countries, and was a nationally rated tennis player.
